GG7 Final stretch and lunch March 12, 2013

We had another soaking on this final leg of the Goose Gallop 2013. However, the eight of us perservered and walked along the walkway to the Bay Street Bridge thus completing the final piece we didn't walk on GG1.  We then walked back to the Princess Mary to have a great lunch, including dessert.  Also, we received our GG 2013 medallions which some of us thought would make good Christmas tree decorations!

Directions

We'll be leaving the centre at 9:15 and setting off from the Car park on Head street on Songhees Walkway to,the Bay St. Bridge.  If you're joining us at the trail head, be there at 9:30. We'll head back to the Princess Mary Cafe   at 459 Head Street to have lunch at around 12:30. Fantastic GG2013 (Goose Gallop 2013) Medallions will be awarded to doughty Tuesday Ad Hoc Hikers who have completed or participated in the Gallop for this year!!  Excitement will be unconstrained.  Well - maybe we'll crack a smile!!  Don't want too much excitement at our age!
