Dwayne will be leading this easy 4.1 km hike. The pictures and track are from July 15, 2012.

Directions

Car poolers will be leaving the centre at 9:15 am as usual. If meeting at the trail head, you should be there at 9:45 am.

GG7 Final stretch and lunch March 12, 2013

We had another soaking on this final leg of the Goose Gallop 2013. However, the eight of us perservered and walked along the walkway to the Bay Street Bridge thus completing the final piece we didn't walk on GG1. We then walked back to the Princess Mary to have a great lunch, including dessert. Also, we received our GG 2013 medallions which some of us thought would make good Christmas tree decorations!

Directions

We'll be leaving the centre at 9:15 and setting off from the Car park on Head street on Songhees Walkway to,the Bay St. Bridge. If you're joining us at the trail head, be there at 9:30. We'll head back to the Princess Mary Cafe at 459 Head Street to have lunch at around 12:30. Fantastic GG2013 (Goose Gallop 2013) Medallions will be awarded to doughty Tuesday Ad Hoc Hikers who have completed or participated in the Gallop for this year!! Excitement will be unconstrained. Well - maybe we'll crack a smile!! Don't want too much excitement at our age!

Goose Gallop Logos

GG6 49K to 55K and return Feb 12, 2013

We'll meet at the centre at 9 am (earlier start) and car pool to the top parking lot at Sooke Potholes. From there it's a 6K hike to the 55K marker and the same to return to the parking lot. Goose Gallop 2013 medallions will be available Feb 26, 2013 - our celebration completion of the walk with lunch to follow.
