We'll be meeting at the China Beach day use/Juan de Fuca Trail Head car park at 10:30. Car poolers should leave the centre at 9:15 as usual.

This turned out to be an excellent outing. It's a great short hike to the beach with some cardio. The beach itself is great with its own shower and swing! The cardio is even better on the way back. There were lots of trail hikers - two school based groups going in opposite directions and a few pairs of hikers as well as our intrepid pair!
They all wanted me to go over first to test the bridge strength! I fooled them, though, I was on my toes the whole way over!
The trail had been upgraded with these excellent yellow cedar walkways.
A great 2K hike (or 3.3 according to my gps) to the beach.
