People were wondering about the pilings along the shoreline at Witty's Lagoon. The pilings are the remnants of a water line from a weir on Bilston Creek, near the parking lot, to Tower Point. The water was pumped up a tower at Tower Point and used for the farm. The present tower is not the original and is believed to have been built to protect the pump.
